Directors
Utopia Landscaping was formed in 2013. Chris & Alana’s passion and commitment for creating beautiful, sustainable spaces for our clients is evident in everything they do.
Chris is the Managing Director and leads the Utopia team with commitment, experience and skill and has a genuine passion for creating unique and individual leisure havens for our clients. Chris is also currently acting as Project Manager and coordinates all project requirements including job materials and team resourcing needs.
Chris holds a Cert III in Concreting, Cert III in Wall and Floor Tiling, Cert III in Bricklaying, Cert IV in Pool Building and Construction, Cert IV in Building and Construction, Permaculture Design Certificate.

Alana is the Business Manager and using her corporate background, supports leadership and team development. She is passionate about working with businesses and people to help them grow. Alana is also in charge of “behind the scenes” to ensure that Utopia operates as a professional business and in accordance with all legislative and Council requirements.

May
Project Manager
May’s relationship with Utopia originally began as a client in 2018, and led to her joining the Utopia family mid-2019. She has recently transitioned to Contracts Admin / Client Relationship Manager.
May has qualifications in office admin and small business operations, customer service as well as Contracts & Security of Payments training.
May assists clients from their initial enquiry, liaises with subcontractors, the Project Manager and Supervisor throughout the project life to ensure completion of job in accordance with Contract requirements and client satisfaction.
May’s ability to relate to the client’s sees her training and life experience blend together to help each client with completing their desired pool surround. Her key focus is communication and understanding the clients expectations.

ZECH
Site Supervisor
Zech has been a core member of the Utopia family since 2014. As site supervisor, Zech ensures our team produces high-quality work, consistent with client expectations.
Holding a Cert III in Horticulture and Landscaping, Zech’s passion is the creative process. He loves coming up with designs for each client and seeing a blank canvas turn into a masterpiece. For him, creating a family’s leisure space from start to finish is where he finds great satisfaction and fulfilment.

JOEL
Tradesman
Joel completed his landscaping apprenticeship in 2019 and comes to Utopia with a wide variety of landscaping experience and skills. Joel loves to spend his spare time in the great outdoors surfing, camping, boating, on his motorbike, or with his blue cattle dog.

JACK
Tradesman
Jack completed his Landscape Construction apprenticeship in 2020 and comes to Utopia to enhance his already wide variety of skills.
In Jack’s spare time, he can be found in 4WDing on the beach or in the bush, or spending time with family.
“I love being a part of the team and love the working environment. Seeing the end result and how happy it makes the customer, just makes the job even more worth it.’
STEVE
Plant Operator/Trades Assistant
Steve has recently joined the Utopia family after having his own excavation business for over 22 years and therefore understands the importance of delivering high quality services. He brings extensive experience in excavation, earthmoving and various plant operations. Steve uses his spare time to enjoy boating, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.

EMILY
Apprentice
Emily’s previous background includes hospitality and volunteer zookeeping. Emily has renovated an old farm shed into her current home, and after deciding to leave her studies in psychology, has joined the #Utopiafamily.

REGAN
Apprentice
Regan is always happy to contribute to making the work environment fun. Regan has a natural love of the outdoors, and in his spare time, can be found either surfing or playing soccer.
“I enjoy the positive work environment that Utopia provides, especially for me as an apprentice. I also really love the creative work we do”.
